At Alumni Relations Office in Career Development Centre, we’re here to help UoP alumni members maintain a lifelong connection with us and with each other. UoP Alumni can get UoPAA membership and can play an important role in the activities of UoPAA besides getting exclusive UoP Alumni card and benefits.

Presently, memberships are offered in three categories on demand:

• Regular Membership         Provided to UoP Alumni for one year (renewable) on demand.
• Lifetime Membership         Provided to UoP Alumni for lifelong.
• Affiliate Membership          Provided to non-alumni partners of UoPAA with the approval of President UoPAA.

The membership card will contain the member’s name, alumni ID number, graduating year and an identifying barcode.

Procedure to Apply for Alumni Membership Card

For issuance of the membership and the membership card, fill the Membership Form and send it to alumni@uop.edu.pk along with following requisite document/slips/receipts and a Profile Picture (high resolution with a plain, professional backdrop in .jpeg or .png format. Maximum photo size should be 300 x 400 pixels in width and height) :

• Scanned copy of last Degree received from University of Peshawar”.
• Scanned copy of your passport sized photograph (.jpeg or .png format) with white background, in high resolution (300 x 400 dpi or more).
• Scanned copy of your CNIC.
• Scanned copy of the bank deposit slip.

Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions in a students’ academic and professional life and CDC is striving to provide them with the best on-campus career development facilities. CDC will promote excellence among University students through Employer Relations and Career Development initiatives. The Alumni Talk Series has been initiated by CDC in collaboration with different departments at University. In these sessions senior and distinguished alumni of respective departments are invited and engaged through different activities to guide and help current students on different aspects of their lives, careers and future prospects. In these talks successful alumni share their personal experiences and success stories in order to motivate them. The focus of these events is to guide the students socially, academically and psychologically.

Departmental Re-union is an emotionally charged environment. Triple embrace and double handshake in a purely Peshawar tradition marks the occasion. Staff and students mix up in a friendly manner and overflowed with nostalgia. With dreamy eyes, everybody recall their memories. They speak about the old spreading tree which is missing after the renovation. They look at the refurbished department building and redraw their old classrooms out of their memories. In short, departmental reunion is a great opportunity to reunite with seniors, old friends, classmates and teachers.

CDC is in touch with all the departments and is adamant on facilitating all the alumni of UoP in arranging class reunions, batch reunions or departmental reunions

Nothing is more important to us than seeing you all together again at UoP on Home Coming Day. We are excited to look back on treasured memories with you, and celebrate the enduring legacy of our incredible University.  Annual “Alumni Homecoming” brings many of our Alumni back to University of Peshawar for a day full of new laughs, shared memories and catching up.

To promote social contact between senior alumni, old students, present students, and faculty of the University of Peshawar, CDC invites senior and distinguished alumni on specific days, like 14th August Independence Day Celebrations at UoP, 30th October University Foundation & Convocation Day and 23rd March Celebration. The aim is to develop and help maintain active alumni interactions and enhance the image of University of Peshawar through self-enrichment, career development and role modeling in the wider society.

University of Peshawar is being registered as an autonomous, non-political and non-ethnic body, under the laws of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which will work in liaison with the University of Peshawar for the furtherance of aims and objectives enunciated in article 3 of this constitution.  UoPAA Constitution has been finalized and is being followed, in letter and spirit; for all activities of the association.

To develop and help maintain active alumni interactions and enhance the image of University of Peshawar through self-enrichment, career development and role modeling in the wider society, CDC is launching its quarterly newsletter.
The First issue of quarterly online newsletter of CDC was released in the last week of October 2018 (June-September 2018). So far two issues have been launched and third issue of Jan-March 2019 is soon to be available online.
